Funny analogy

Guess what? My Advanced Corporate Finance professor gave us an analogy this morning regarding the advantage of making alliances compared to acquisition in terms of managing risk. And he used marriage as the analogy. He said, marriage should be an alliance in form, where two party cooperate for a limited goa. The risk is minimal because there are contracts and laws to accomodate interests. But in Indonesia, because the law is weak, people used acquisition. In this form, the men act as the more powerful and the outcome are not good. Domestic violence, etc are the risks of acquisition in marriage life.
Ha..and I wonder why my posts are mostly about marriage.
